Dreams

Hmmm....

Anyway, FYP ended at 10.40 ++ yesterday...wow..it's tiring....

then cleared some issues...

Now now, don't know what to blog. So many things happened at once.

Ohoh! finally remembered!

Raynond showed me the stars yesterday! It's beautiful...Told me that the star constellations appear 15 mins earlier everyday! Cool huh?

Showed me the crux, Scopio and alot ! Haha!

Met my Trekking IG mates in the train..Taught Cloud abit of Rubics Solving. Fun fun....

Have I ever regreted asking God to show me how He feels? In a way...it has hurt me alot and I'm sure God held back(He loves perfectly and I do not) but yeap not regrets. I wanna learn and grow.

I'll be a better person. I'll be more Christlike.

I'm Just Tired.

Phew...It's a really power packed weekend.

Well...I did not have enough rest that's for sure and it's activity intensive...

With 8 hours of stall management, 3-4 hours of intense basketball, 3 hours of intense badminton, Final Year Project and a Birthday Celebration.

Wow..It's wooooshhh! Haha...Not that I don't like it...I had loads of fun! I enjoy being with the people and stuff...and with so much sports even, it reminds me of old times(Miss it Dearly).

Here's an update on today!

Started day travelling to Church with Bro. He brought a sandwich and both of us shared. It is until the train statiion that he forgot his ez-link card. He went back to take..well...he ended up doing that 3 times as he had stomach ache and forgot to take his ezlink.

Haha..I went to church and...I'm the camera man today. So I had my normal fun with the camera. Ashley! Andrea's little sis is there! Her dad brought her there. So we did out ritual! Some weird children game..but it's fun!

Here's a thing I'll like to share. A parent a easily hurt a child's feelings. I notice that from a few of my friends and that's what happened to ashley. I think it's some error that happened then she got scolded. After that, I can see that she's hurt. Then she began to do what girls usually do. Looked hurt and then when asked "what happened?", shakes head and keep quiet and remain looking sad. Well...then her dad(like most guys) had trouble comforting her. She just sulk o while sitting on her dad's lap. Hmmm..I wonder how can this issue be solved? Strangely, the first thought that came to my mind, is that the dad should hug the child.

Anyway, I tried to cheer her up and after a long while, succeeded! Yay! Yu Ki is great with kids hahaha.

Ohoh! Darius is having trouble kicking me now. Haha..and I kept disturbing him. That's for disturbing me. Whahahaha.

Oh! 2 july, I'm gonna go and take care of kids with Ian! Heard that they are problematic...and we are bringing them to west coast park and then to a elderly home.

Service ended, the pastor preach rather long and that ate away my announcement time...which means I did not go up to announce the upcoming book fair! Eeeyerrr....

Oh....dino did not come church today. Haiz....Her parents made her stay at home to study. Parents can be an issue alot of times...especially when they are bad examples . Especially in their relationship with God. The child will be affected.

And..ya....

Anyway, we went off for Badminton afterwwards. It's CLEMENTI STADIUM! WootS! I miss Clementi...So much memories...Haha Still loving the past. Oh..I'm invited back to the Sports Leader's Camp. They miss me.... I MISS THE SPORTS LEADERS!!! and Boy's Brigade too...but the time has yet not arrive. Time is precious...I cannot anyhow spend it(which I do most of the time).

Side tracked.

Oh..Half of us went to eat first while the other half went straight to play Badminton. Well...since I have no money to eat, Idecided to start playing! Haha..My only regret is bro did not eat too and join in to play...Arghhh....

Anyway, It's really fun. Samantha and Jonathan's dad is really good(coach Lei) trashed my bro and me upsidedown...Haha...bro do not know how to play....only sit in front of my laptop only ahahha.

Well...but everything did not go smoothly. There are some ego issues that rose up...and yeah....I was like playing and my partner and another guy on the opposite are like....aiya.....My partner kept smacking and hitting the other guy ..yeapp.and the other guy kept taunting...I was like ...hmm....okok...fine...keep quiet and control the scores. So that no side get's too big headed or discouraged. Well...I played non stop and yeap. I survived! Tired and playing well!

Oh...Elena did not chop off her partner's head this time! hahah! Last year I was her partner and I almost lost my head. Haha. She's and Squash Champion! Cool huh? Badminton Squash style!

Playing with Josiah is the most fun. We kept laughing and he is super funny as usual. Haha...our guys should learn from Josiah. He is a great role model!

Oh...Celebrated Maggi's birthday after that! Her mom baked her a cake that was super nice and super big....wowed...Haha!! Maggi looked so awkward but well she had fun! That's great! Ohoh...I created some funny mixture..by mixing cake...cream...and all the sauces you can find in mac..the result...some dirrhea like mess...haha..eeek!

OH! I discovered today that I CAN DO SOMETHING NEW! It's call flaking! Creating snowlike effects my shaking my shirt! Causing dead skin cells to flake of and snow from my body and shirt LOL! Hahahahaha! wwwooooottts!!! hhahaha....

That is mostly all the excitment I had today, yeap...seeing Joel, Jacquerline, Barnabas, Charlton, Simon and Wanting today was great too!

Gonna miss Jacquerline when she go off to America! (Sobs)

Oh...I have 4 friends that are not feeling well today! Do pray for them!

QLCK Funfair

Oh ya..on such an exciting day, of course there is a need to start it of excitingly. With a miracle.

Ok!!

I'm suppose to get 1.5 litre bottles for Steffi's coconut bowling station. Oh I have 3 only actually and I forgot to bring on that day. Well...God remind me through an empty 1.5 bottle on the floor. Haha..I went back and lo and behold, I've got 6 bottles suddenly. LOL

HAHHAHA
Talk about cups being overflowed, here I have an overflow of bottles.

Reached, last year, I'm water bomb target. This year! no diff. HAha.

But this year, we have a board. As a protection. Haha...but with dino around, it's useless...took away my board a few times...and...well..ouch. But ssince I already am an experienced target, I can handle the pain. I'm strong!! whahaha.

It was draining but a few people made this day nice.
1)Dino - treat me Ice cream! Played at deflated castle.
2)Josiah - Treat me...today's meals!
3)Bumblebee - greenbean soup, ice cream!

After the Fun fair, we played basket ball....

Then then...I realised...how tired my body is.....
The situation:

Since Wed, I have no money for food..neither I have enough rest.

Reason: Yu Ki....stepped away from God...for..some reasons....

Result: Stepping from God = to stepping from all the things I depended on Him. Haha..which is my daily needs.
I repented soon..haha...God then supplied me miraculously till today. Tomorrow, I dun know where my food would come..but God loves me and I know it and...best of all, I know he'll provide.

What Yu Ki needs to Do: put God first and right himself(still doing)=]

Anyway, what do I mean that my body is tired?
My stomach is filled but it's usually at the balance line. God still sees it fit that I reflect upon an not so filled stomach. LOL. Always do that! hahaha..Guess If I learn what he did to me, I'll be a great parent. LOL..He God ma.

Anyway, I got difficulty breathing, had multiple stitches and slow reaction lol....but the people are pro too.. lOl..haha..so it could be because I noob..Hahaha

"Sheep or Savior"

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:14 (NIV)

Watching a two-year-old get dressed is interesting. The child knows he is supposed to put his legs into his pants. Yet, knowing where to begin is a problem. First, he tries putting his foot through the bottom of the pant leg. When that doesn't work, he puts both legs into the same pant leg. After half a dozen attempts, he brings his pants to his mother, holds them up to her, and says, "Help, please!"

The Israelites of the Old Testament weren't much different than that two-year-old. They wanted desperately to please God. They offered sacrifices for their sins, but they had to do it over and over again. Every year they took animals to the temple, watched the priest kill them, and sprinkle their blood over the people and on the altar.

For a while, they felt forgiven. But, then they sinned again. They told a lie, got angry, maybe even cheated their neighbor out of some grain by holding their thumb on the scale. Before they knew it, they were feeling spiritually dirty and in need of help.

Jesus' death on the cross was God's answer to mankind's cry of desperation: "Help me, please!" Our conscience tells us we break His standards daily by our sinful thinking and rebellious actions. According to God's perfect Law, we are condemned-hopeless and beyond help. God had another plan in mind for us, however: Jesus, His Son, the sacrifice Lamb. Jesus kept every one of God's laws perfectly.

Having done this, He alone could satisfy God's wrath. God used His Son's death as payment for us. Because of Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf, God forgives us our sins, cleanses our conscience, and liberates us from guilt and shame over our sinful thoughts and actions.

The lesson to be learned from children is to give up trying to do things ourselves-especially when it comes to our salvation. He alone has made a way for us.

"It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture (Psalm 100:3b).

THE PRAYER: Heavenly Father, teach us to yield our lives and our wills to You. Belief in your Son's atoning life and death is the only hope we have. And You guaranteed that hope by raising Jesus from the dead and sending us Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, Father.

Island Life Sentosa is Burning

Before I go into Sentosa. Let's look at an article I got from a friend.

"Unclean"

And as He entered a village, He was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance and lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." Luke 17:12-13

When the Dalits of India talk about being "unclean," they don't mean they need to take a shower. They mean their touch can make a respectable person dirty.

According to Hindu belief, in the beginning there was a single man who was separated into parts. From the man's mouth came the Brahmins, or the holy men. From the arms came the Ksatriyas, or the kings and warriors. From the man's thighs came the merchants, and from his feet came all common laborers. Dalits were too low to have come from that first man.

According to the outlawed caste system, Dalits are unclean. They're so unclean they must drink from different wells, use different doors when they enter or leave a building, and never walk on pathways reserved for the upper classes. According to a CNN report from a few weeks ago, a six-year-old Dalit girl walked on a road reserved for those of the upper caste. One of those men, filled with road rage, lectured the girl. He then pushed her into some burning embers. As of this writing, the girl was still in critical condition.

As sad as that story is, you should know I'm not going to say that all Dalits are clean. I won't say it because they're not. You heard that correctly. India's 250 million Dalits are unclean-just like Ken Klaus is unclean-just like you are unclean-just like the ten lepers in our text were unclean. Every person in the world is unclean and is made unclean by the sinful nature they have and the wrong they do.

God would have been well within His rights to ignore us, avoid us, and condemn us. That is not what He chose to do. Instead of allowing our sins to take us to hell, the Father sent His holy Son into this world. By divine directive Jesus was given a special job to do: He was to make the unclean, clean. Did He succeed? Look into the empty tomb! Did He make us acceptable? John tells us (1 John 1: 7b) "the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."

Through Christ's life, suffering, passion, death, and resurrection, all things necessary for our redemption and recycling have been done. Jesus, our Master has had mercy on us.

THE PRAYER: Dear Savior, for sacrificing Yourself so humanity's unclean might be rescued from who they are and the condemnation they deserve, You have our unending praise. In Your Name, I offer thanks. Amen.

Woke up really tired today. Even last night, I never did chat on MSN. Don't know why... Must be the sunburnts affecting my sleep.

Anyway, after a serious fight with my sinful nature to spent some precious time with God, I did. Thank God. haha. I picked up something...something that I need alot.

Faith. Faith to wait. Faith to put God first. Faith to not be afriad of what is happening or what might happen. Faith that God has what's best in stored.

Phew... What a day...Oh..the next day which is yesterday, I had training. Thank God that it is light Training. Just a 5+ Km Run and Do as much as you can Pull ups.

Oh!! On the Day of Sentosa, Alot of my friends are there too!

While travelling back yesterday, wow..It's horrible. It's like a 500+ meters walk...with...the clothes and bag digging into your sunburnt skin and your ankles hurting. A killer it was. My load is heavy too..

But God is nice, brightened my night with 2 friends! I love meeting people I know! First was sabrina, one of the rare sweet lady like ladies left in this world. Then Mr Goh, one of the few humble people left in the world. These two kinds of people really brighten up my day...I meant night. Yeap...Travelled..Home...scare a cat and played with another faithful cat that always kept on the look out for me.

Phew....Sunburnt must recover...Oh I hope it peels...It's fun! wahhaahahhaa!

Ok...nevermind that.

Body Broken Like Never Before

It's a long time since I hurt that much.

My bones are aching, joints are in pain, my muscles are aching and my mind is heavy is heavy with fatigue.

Oh..Tell you about the sleep hiking. I can never thought such things existed. Well... till it happened to me. It was during the middle of the trek, we are approaching the treetop walk to Telok Blangah. It is at this stretch of road leading towards Alexandra Hospital. I was like...walking walking walking.....Spaced out and still walking....till I walk towards a bush/light post or stumbled. Well...spaced out as it I cannot remembered what happen neither did I know what is happening.

I stumbled about every 300-500 meters? And I often walk out of the pavement...to a bush...or lampost. It's only after I reached the tree top walk then I got energy to not sleep walk. That is when I realiesd something.

It's the light that affected me. The tree top walk is dark and I had no pproblems while the sleepy road is lighted with a dull orange hue. I guess I've been hypnotised by the lights or what.
Anyway I'm still safe and sound. That's great.

Anyway, I finished the trip. Saw the Sun but it is not as I had hoped. Seen better ones. Ate Roti Prata and rushed home because by the prompting of the spirit, I asked Steffi what time do our gospel sharing start. I thought it was 12 nn but it was revealed to be 10am. Wow....I travelled Home and Change. God spared me a much needed of 15-30 minutes sleep.

It was great. I'm suppose to be dead tired. I prayed for energy, strength and wisdom and God provided. I had a great time and Brandon(my partner)'s courage is refreshing. We shared to a classmate of Jackie and a passerby. We invited them to come to our church and ask queestions if they have.

Oh!! Next Week It's going to be sports in YF! BADMINTON! I heard. I should invite people. =]

Anyway, After the Gospel sharing, I went for my FYP. It's supposed to be at 6pm but since I have two trips left in my ezlink, I cannot go home. I went to northpoint to walk. Well...For 3 hours and I almost died. My joints and bones are feeling as if they'll break if I jump. AND IT'S BORING!

haha..I then slept at the MRT station from 5 pm - 6 pm . Met Raymond and He repaid the meal I treated him the last time. Which I've already forgotten. Ate Estella's share of food too as she cannot finish. wahahaha..Then it's FYP after an interesting video Raymond showed us.

I was blinking in and out of sleep throughout the end of FYP at 10pm. Wow...Got home..bath...Knock out.

Oh! Thanks Min! For entertaining me throughout the trip home! Haha..

Anyway, in case anyone is worried, I'm recovering fast as expected. Only some of my muscles ache now. By tomorrow, I'll recover!

Another Interesting Food for Thought Article.

"Tempted Beyond"

But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
James 1:14-15

Chocolate is good for you. I remember the overwhelmingly positive reaction of many when that bit of information made the evening news a few months ago. Now British researchers are calling for volunteers who are willing to eat a bar of chocolate, every day, for an entire year. Best of all, the volunteers can forget any guilt, because the chocolate will be consumed for the good of humanity and in the name of science.

Now, I should tell you, the test, which begins in June, is trying to see if it can reduce the risk of heart disease for menopausal women with Type 2 diabetes. So, if you don't fit the criteria, and you don't live in England, don't bother to apply. Disappointed? Many people might be. Chocolate is a weakness for a lot of folks. Indeed, volunteers in this study might find themselves hard pressed to confine their chocolate intake to a bar a day. After all, the thinking might go, if one chocolate bar is good for you, why not a dozen?

Now, before I go any further in this devotion, I want to say that, as far as I know, eating chocolate in moderation is not a sin. Having said that, I'd also like to add this: the devil likes to use things that interest us to woo us away from the Lord. When Eve looked at the forbidden fruit, she noticed it was good for food and pleasing to the eye. Hers was the first in a long line of sins finding its root in personal preferences.

James says it better than I ever could: "Each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death" (James 1:14-15).

James wants God's saved people to realize what tempts one person will leave another person cold. Even so, each of us has an Achilles' heel and Satan works tirelessly to find it. When he does, he tempts us to sin and that sin will bring forth our death. The deplorable condition of the world shows how successful the father of lies has been. There is, Scripture tells us, not a just man on the earth that does good and doesn't sin.

This is why we need a Savior. The Father in heaven, who is the giver of every good and perfect gift, has also graciously given us His Son to save us from our sinful desires and actions. Jesus' life was dedicated to the single purpose of redeeming us from, how do pastors say it, "our sinful desires." In short, Jesus saves us from ourselves.

THE PRAYER: Dear Lord Jesus, for saving me from sin, death, devil, and me, I give thanks. Now I pray that the Holy Spirit will keep me from sinful temptations that are my weakness. In Your Name I ask for help. Amen.

This remind me of this session I once had in "Christianity Explored" It talks about sin. I learnt why sin is an issue we cannot save ourself or cure ourself. Many people tried to overcome this issue with good works, religon, achievements, great deed, beliefs, holy living or all of the above. But the thing is this. Sin is like something carved into your hand. All our good works, religon, achievements, great deed, beliefs and holy living covers our ugly mark call sin. It's like things you use to cover up a wound or an ugly mark. It makes you look better. That's for sure definitely. But at the end of the day, when everything is stripped away and you are judged as who you are, the ugly mark remains. In clear sight. The issue is not solved.

So what's so big deal about our sin?

Genesis 6:5-6 puts it in this way.
5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

It grieved God and it made God sad that He had created us. In layman's term, imagining doing something so bad that it made your mommy or daddy regret giving birth to you.. It was this bad.

James 1:14-15 place it
"Each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death"

Sin brings about death? What does that mean? Well... a good example will be a picture. Look around you. That is the death that was being spoken of. Cut from God. No one knows God. Everyone lives for himself or herself. In short, everyone suffers and that my friends, is nothing compared to Hell. where the separation from God is going to be eternal. Here we still have God working through people. There...I don't think so. This I believe would give you an idea why it gives God so much. Imagine watching the one you loved walk the path of self-destruction. It ain't pretty.

1 Corinthians 15:3 tells us this

This is a really dark verse huh? But it is the least of our problems. Because, if this can really save us, then ...yeah...we can be saved by ourselves! We just need the courage. but ...

Matthew 15:18-19 states
18But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' 19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

We have an heart issue. We can cut off our limbs...yes...but we cannot cut out our hearts. That is why God have to intevene. We are helpless.

Romans 5:6-8
6You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Yeap. That is how much God love us. He died for us.
Talk about love stories? The bible is The Love Story. Authentic and Life Changing.

Today, it was kind of funny. You know, when you make an exclaimation to God, do expect a reply. Today, Estella shared to me about her late coming. She could have made it in time if not for the many things that delayed her. (Her first time) She told me that however, she told God that late or not, she'll praise His name.

SO ME! Being inspired by our dear Estella here, thanked God for the many blessings and EXCLAIMED in prayer that no matter what, I'll praise Him.

And...God...Hmm...decided to test that. UT time! I decided to pray and ask for the ability to do well...first time praying for UT this Semester. UT = Test by the way. Well...Feeling confident, I entered the test..and God...blocked my mind. Wahahahhaha

Well...Of course I'm annoyed. YEap...Still have not give thanks yet...Ok..now is the time. I must fulfil my promise. Haha.

Went for Trekking IG today....Ran around the school....did sprinting twice. 4 times in once. and then a sprint up the Ramp of RP. Shiok.

Some weeks ago in the Daily Devotions I talked about how I lost a cross that had been given to me. No, it hasn't been found.

I just wanted to let you know I'm not the only person who loses things. According to a story carried last week by the BBC, plans for New York's Freedom Tower, the building designed to replace the World Trade Center, were recently found in one of the city's rubbish bins. The plans were clearly labeled: "Secure Document-Confidential"; they were found by a homeless man.
Steve Yang, an architect who spoke to the New York Post, said the plans would have been helpful for a terrorist planning an attack. No, I'm not the only person who loses things.

Centuries ago, God's people also lost some important plans. In a time of Godlessness, somehow, someway, the book of the Lord's law was misplaced. It was only when King Josiah was trying to restore and rebuild the people's relationship with God that the document was found. When the Word of God was read, the king was both pleased and distraught. He was pleased because God's commandments and promises had come home. He was distraught because he realized how far the Lord's people had wandered.

As we look at this sinful world, most of us find ourselves concluding humanity has managed to lose a great many things. Reverence for the Lord, reliance upon His Word, respect for the Savior's sacrifice, regard for each other-have all been misplaced. As Christians, we, like Josiah, ought to pray for a restoration of these qualities that should always be precious and dear to the Lord's people.

As Christians, it is our duty, responsibility, and opportunity to go to the Lord and ask Him to be merciful and bring us back to His pasture, His protection, and His Fatherly preservation. We need to plead with the Spirit to make sure we will never lose sight of the Savior's sacrifice, which alone can save us in this world and the next.

THE PRAYER: Dear heavenly Father, help me remember those things that are most important. Let me look to You for grace and compassion; to the Savior for redemption, and the Holy Spirit for a sanctified life. May I never lose these things, which ought always be of the highest importance. In Your Name. Amen.

Do you know I've just gotten 4 frogs? HAhahaha..

Cool and eeky.

One of them escape today. I was searched the toilet immediately. There was nothing. Then I look at the kitchen then the drying area. And i thought I'm going to die searching for this small frog in such a messy place. Well..then God spoke. Pray.

One word. Haha...I remember Jonathan's Cobra on the loose story. So I prayed! And yes. As expected, God reviewed the frog immediately. Behind the washing machine.

Got Dad to help and the frog was caught in no time. AND AND! The underside of the washing machine is so cool....if the frog hid there, it'll probably die there without me knowing. Haha...God is Great!

I wish I wish I wish my parents and my friends will get to know Jesus. Cos. God is real. He is good and loving. At the same time, God is holy and there is judgement for all who do not turn from they ways and seek God. So..... I wish I wish I wish and I really wish.

Time to start praying for my Classmate's Salvation!

Ohoh! Shared the Gospel in School today. It was great.. Full gospel shared...but that Guy unfortunately still wasn't saved. Relativism (what you believe is real and what you don't believe is not real) is a real big issue. Well...pray that he'll see that what you don't believe will not cause what is real to become unreal one day.

Ate with fellow workers in Christ. Joked shared about our lives ..and ya...great fellowship.

Thank God for faithful Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

This simple skit has never failed to touched me.
Everything I see it, I'm reminded of God's grace.
His coming in at our time of need.

It's so undeserving...but that is what grace is all about right?
The undeserved favor.

I think about it. Each time I am downtrodden, discouraged or each time I fell to sin.
I look to the cross and think what am I that You would die for me?
Around 2008 years ago. You came, the Creator, came to the created. Bound Himself to time and space. To walk the earth as a mere man. Came to be scorned, abused and ultimately to die on the cross that we may be justified for all our wrongdoings and inabilities. Yet, there are many that still not willing to come to You despite of the evidences that You are the true and living God. not only so, they mislead many away from You. Not only that. Even those you came to you did not come full heartedly and are flawed in so many ways. I myself am not proud of my life. I knowing God did not still put Him first in my life.

And...You know that. You knew that even before You came. Even when You are hanging on the cross , in pain and dying, you knew the kind of people you are dying for. An unrepentant and stiff-neck group. Yet You still held on in love. The nails that hold you to the cross are there only because you allowed it. And you let it hold you there so that we may be saved.

You knew yet You came. You knew yet You died for us.
Where to find love?
The world gives a wide range...indulgences, pleasures, romances, company, relationships, care concern....part and bits of love.
You point to the cross, where the infinite God made Himself finite. Reduced to the lowest and murdered that we can come back to Him and be restored to what really satisfies.

Not to mention, rose again from the dead to assure that it is something real and possible.

I cherish the day that I'm saved.

Grace and Love like no other

After blogging about Psalms 32, I went to look at this video...I watched it a long time ago...it's great....a must watch. A skit done by a group of youths in Life House.

It's touching. It'll never fail to remind me of God's love and grace. That He, our creator has never given up on us even as we continually walk away from Him an indulged in self destructive and ways that are offensive to Him.

There are many things we deserved. Judgement, punishment but instead of letting us destroy ourselves with things that will never satisfy, our God came and at a time while we are still dead in sin with no hope at all and rescued us. He himself paid the price for our mistake that we may be saved from all the things we put ourself in bondage to.

Colossians 2:13-14
13When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,[a] God made you[b] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.

Now that we have a hope. Given to us. Will we accept it? Or are we going to step away from God again?

I did not do a proper reconciliation last night. Too tired. Well..of course, i woke up with still the heavy burden on me. I'm feeling pretty down..and had to lead a prayer group today. And I cannot access the computer...my Laptop is still dead.

I did QT and this Psalms is presented. I read...immediately, I know what to do. Repented and .... reconcil myself to God. The Psalm hit the spot. Esspecially this verse

That is what I did yesterday. Well...Things are better now. My Laptop is back...all issues cleared...preparing for my Prayer group now. Hees!

The day Yu Ki did not love God so much

It's a day of wrong choices for me. Yeap..decisions against my loving God.

It started...with a day of anticipation! An exciting day.
The study teams are been changed and I'm finally going to Trek IG and get some work outs.

In the past, I relied on some church mates, and it did not even leave the attempt to rely on them part. Which is rather bad but nevermind.

Then I relied on Jacob and Raymond. My Campus Crusade friends. It was great but soon...all of us are too busy and our schedules did not meet.

Andrew, a Church mate invited me to swim...it was great but FYP took my time away.

Eliane use to go rock climbing with me but...it's really far...aljunied.

No one I know lives near me. Except Chole...whom i did consider asking to jog together...but it never left the consider to ask part. WAHAHAHA! ok..nvm.

I relied on self....not so good..lazy me.

The Trek IG really happy thing for me! Hazel is there, so there is someone I know and I'll have to motivation to go because it is organised by someone. The training will be of standard too! The people there are interesting and it'll be great to know them better.

Most importantly, they need Jesus.

Anyway...I got side tracked...but you can see how eager I am to be in somewhere I can exercise.
Well...and recently, God has been testing me. Sports or Him . Sports or Him. Many times, i did not get to work out or play sports because I'm serving Him. Not that it is something bad nor God do not want me to do sports.

It's just that God knows that deep in me, sports has always been a competitor against Him to be first in my life. And...God wanted to change it and yes...it'll be painful.

Today, is suppose to be a day whereby I'm gonna jog to an abandon hospital near RP. Cool huh? Then Jacob message me to ask me to be in his discipleship group. I was of course Devastated. I asked him what's with the sudden meet? (Was not in my schedule book)
Found out that it is not my discipleship group but just an invitation. I know that this is an alarm from God...supposed to do calling today too..but dismissed it too....well, in short, seeing that all things are "cleared", I hopped on to the Trek IG.

Met Hazel and ate with her but before that, dropped my LapTop and spoilt it. Sadded. How am I to do UT is again questioned....I don't even have to resource to study for it now.

Anyway, Trek IG was really fun. We Jogged and entered a state land. Well...it is wrong...but I love these places and pushed God out again. Saw the Cameras in the area. God is still being nice and warned me that the police will come. Well...me being me ..of course put that aside too.

We had loads of fun till....the police came. LOL. that is when I sober abit and think about what God is trying to tell me all this while ... gave my ID and had a fun run back to school.

Hmmm.....I ain't proud of my actions...gonna reconcil to God later. I really give thanks for a loving God willing to die for someone like me. Amazing Grace huh?

Anyway...Gonna be more thoughtful now. =]

Oh....a note to all...when you call me at around 8pm onwards, do check if I'm walking home or not. If I am so, continue talking only if you are a person I like to talk to or don't mind talking to. Haha...Cos...bad mood...bag heavy ...hahaha keep to that and Yu Ki is a nice guy in your memory. Haha

Currently, I'm being thrown into things or events without my permission or consultation as if I'm some object. I don't really like it. I think it's rude but i'm keeping silent for now.

Ironman

Today! Yes, Today is the day out with Tabitha, Daniel and Hassanah!

Guess who's the planner? ME! So that equates disaster. Haha...

Okok...Tabby is the initator while I plan. Sze Jin is suppose to come alone...but he is not well aquainted with Daniel and Hassanah.

We met to eat at Long John Silvers. Shared about our lives and catch up with each other. It is really nice. Miss them. Of course there is a sense of awkwardness due to the fact that we have not met for sometime but still it is great.

Daniel was nice and treaated us. Haha...guess what....all of them are working and earning...I'm the only one without spending power. Wahaha....Hassanah being the top earner. Haha..She cook sia.

After that, Hassanah went to work...While Tab, Dan and I went to watch Ironman.

No spoilers here. Haha.

After that, Off to home we go.
And..the book I brought to return to Daniel, it's still in my bag...LOL. Dumbed

Today's Big Events

1)Second Break Rush!

Conditions:
Within 2 hours,
- FYP Culturing 2 sets of Cells.

- Meet Lion(Liyan) For prayer and Gospel sharing points.

- Research about and Finish Slides of presentation on Careless dumping of
Hexavalent Chromium into unlined ponds and Prevention of industry related disasers.
(I used 3 slides)
- Meet Campus Crusade For Lunch.

2) Understanding Test : Laboratory Management
Conditions:

- Pass you Exam styled Test.

3) Seafood Barbecue
Conditions:
- Rally the people of RP who are going
- Rush to SP/ Moberly

- Eat and Enjoy

- Tell friends about Jesus

Wow! All in a day. That's a Christian!

Alright I shall start with early in the morning, I woke up 15 minutes late, dilly dalied and reached school 30 mins early. Is that not skilled?

Had a great Quiet Time and ran through my memory verses.

Reached My class...Realised that I did not bring my Adapter and that my Laptop has the l ongevity of 20- 30 mins. It's around 8.10 by now. School starts at 8.30 and usually around this time, all the LapTops are already borrowed...Which may means that I cannot do my Test after School....which will be a big impact on my results. I got down to the It Helpdesk...Lo and behold!

All the Laptops are there and ready to be borrowed. With great joy I borrowed.

Discovered that the Acer Adapter can be used to supply my Hp tablet with electricity! So..There I go.....I used my Hp Tablet of course. Haha

Event 1 : Second Break Rush.

Phew....Lion had message the other night to ask for a prayer meet. I was not really keen..I knew I'm busy so it'll affect my work. On the other hand, I wanna put God first in my life. So I went ...by faith. As expected, it took longer than promised, and I was put to greater test by being requested to waste more time running from the lab to the class to get the broshure to pass it to Lion a little while after my prayer meet with her. I ran in faith and only to discover that Lion is missing and my handphone is in the Lab. So I gotta run back and located Lion(who is at the canteen...the other end of the world(RP) and where I search earlier and found no trace of that furry thing) I was almost giving up...but I still ran...oh...I forgot to mention that I pulled a tendon...and I was in pain because of the running and the limping.

After Sub Culturing the cells, I made the same mistake I made last time with my HCT 116 Colon Cancer cells. I failed to trypsined it fully. Thus the cells came out in batches instead of in pieces.

Well.. No time to grieve. I set of to do my research and everything. Barely made it in time for presentation.

Presentation went well.

Event 2 : Understanding Test
This is the fun part.
My Fugitsu Laptop died on Sunday and My Hp Tablet's keyboard died on Monday. My worries are how am I do do my Tests....which are online? My Hp Tablet Pen is also broken.

So I meant it with masking tape....it's good but slow and a lag can easily kill me.

But my laptop's keyboard was restored with the combination of George and Issac! THANKS GUYS! I was happy! No more worries.

On the test day...which is yesterday, I realise that....hmmmm....I for got my adapter and...welll...My Hp tablet cannot last 30 minutes on a full battery. Rushed down to borrowed a Lap top and miraculously gotten one.
An Acer...Realised that It's adapter can fuel my Hp tablet, I took no hesitations to use my Hp tablet.

The time for ethe test came....And...I realise that most of the class cannot sign into the test...something is wrong with the school. I've got 2 laptop. My Hp Tablet cannot sign into the test and...My borrowed Acer do not have the test......ARGHHHHH!!!
Hahha... I was so funny ...all the effort of the week gone down the drain and the solution was simple.

Do it on paper...With the faithful pen and my now....bloody pencase. The Red pen decides that it's accomodation isn't nice enough...uncapped itself and welll...coloured my pen case to a bloody red colour and design. Kind of cool I must admit. Lol

Test was well...of faci did not fund us back the wasted time...so I missed a 3 mark question.
Oh wells....results are in God's hands. =]

Event 3: SeaFood Barbeque!
Oh...must tell you about this guy....I seriously suspect is a pervert. LOL
Ok....My job is to gather all the people of RP and go to SP together . Everyone was there except for this guy. My contact. he gave alot of issues by saying that he is coming but we did not see him.

We waited ...for a very long time...30+ mins..and we are all late. I then decided that he is some joker as got everybody to go. Halfway to the MRT station, he messaged..where are you. I was shocked! Am I wrong? He wasn't playing a fool?

Well...I decided to jog back...IAN followed! Thanks Ian. Well..We jogged back to RP and yeah...same issue.He did not appear. We called him...and the smae thing happened....said that he is coming. At the second call, he mention that he is in the canteen.Weird.

I was wondering...what's wrong with him. We went to the canteen...he hanged up and refuse to pick up the phone. After a long waiting, we hurried back to the MRT...We ARE VERY LATE.

When we are at the MRT, he called to find us again...I was wondering...what's up with this guy? do you really want to come? Anyway, he called Lion. Lion told talked to him and stuff...then she pass the phone to me. Well.. He put down the phone only when he heard my voice. Hmmm..

Later, he messaged Lion....claiming that he is actually that guy's friend . Asking her that if she wanna meet the guy, she should meet him alone instead of sending other people. Or he will be afriad.

I messaged that guy back and told him that I am Yu Ki and was there and I even described myself so that He can find me easily.

He replied that he did not see me.

I replied that I am a guy. ( Well.. people often mistake me as a girl )

He replied, accusing me that I am a liar and Yu Ki is not a guy. Well...I was thinking..is this guy ok?Can't he meet a guy ? I am Yu Ki after all.

I replied back. I am a guy not a japanese girl. ( A common mistake fo people )

He replied: I'm wasting my time loser.

Realising that my early message may sound sacastic, I decided to clarify. Stating that there is a misunderstanding, reassuring him that I am a guy and that he can meet me and I'll show him my I/C.

He got the message and replied: Where is the girl who want to meet me?

I decided not to reply anymore. Sick pervert. Got to warn the ladies working with me...Careful of sick perverts out there.

Well....I really don't know what's up with that guy...but...I'll be finding him. I know his friend. Curious about how who that guy is. Wahahaha.

Okok.....that's the problems faced ...now for the fun.....

Seafood barbeque equates to loads of food eaten ..and If you notice, I did not eat lunch. Well.. i devoured...erm...40-50 + Cockles and Mussels...Sandwiches,....4-5 Chicken wings....A crab.....and cannot remember. Hahaha....OH!! MUSHMELLOWS!!!! I was joking with them that I was aiming to get Hepatitis B and Diabetes at a young age. We played Jango! Fun game...I just watch ...cause...I'm busy eating. OH YA!!!

I finally repaid Suan Choo My debt of 1 Hum/Cockle. I felt so liberated...no longer in debt.

After that, I told my friend Xiao Yang(guy...haha...in case) about God. He is from China and has been to a church before. So I asked him about what he thinks then a shared about God.

Told Him that God created Heaven and earth...and that we are in trouble because we all chose to push God out of our life and because of that, we are separated from God and will be judged and punished.

I didn't get to share about Jesus coming to take our place. Taking the punishment so that we can be with God again because Reggie came and we all have to go for GAMES!!

I forgot the name of the game but it is real fun. We did not win however...sad sad. We had a fun time playing with light sticks too...

I stayed back to clear up ....well..clear up the logistics....and the food....hahaha.....Yeah! The muschmellows are cool...It has ...Bananas and chocolates and it's sweeeeet!

The girl carrying the mushmellows happened to be my groups Barbequer. So she said..I'm going to get hepatitis B and diabetes. Lol...haha...

Daniel showed me the way out and became my tour guide. Showed me where he studied and his hang outs. It's really nice. Haha..Actually I'm kind of afriad of him as he seems ficere...but he is a really nice guy. I then went home alone but was joined by Jasmine and Shi Hua. Volunteers. Chatted till I SAW JACUERLINE! A faci from RP...So said hi..and chatted. She just came back from a birthday party and JACOB was there ! Haha...It's like so fun.

Phew..Got home tired...got on Msn. Supposed to check whether Min is ok. Somebody pushed her down while she was going to work... Hmmm.She ain't online..SO I went to sleep around 12....Snored...my way till 9!

Haha...Suppose to meet Tabitha and my secondary school mates today....No reply yet...gonna message her..Wahahhaa...Where's the short tabby Cat. Today's is gonna be another FUN FILLED DAY!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!

Lost and Found Key!

Labour Day! = Public Holiday! = No School! = Holiday! = No Work! = More Time= More Rest/Play = Yeah! = 8]

Well...It can be a boring holiday or it can be spiced by God. Being a Christian is never boring. especially when you have a loving God who takes an active roles in grooming and growing you. 8]

I met up with Jacob, Zhong Kai and Raymond today! Our very own Campus Crusade Guy's Meet. Erm...for old people like us. haha.. but Marcus joined in halfway. Well...he is year two but he is as old as Uncle Kai. Wahaha.

We ate Botak Jones and saw a botak bird. I don't really like the food. Expensive and not tasty.

We chatted alot ...shared our lives and then prayed for each other. Asking God to continues to guide us. 8]

Marcus, Zhong Kai and Jacob went off for another meeting. Raymond and I stayed back. I teached him the Rubiks Cube and he learnt it!

Yeah! Congratuations!! Raymond!

We went off after that....

and then it happened. Unbeknowst to me, my keys has fallen off my pocket . I took my bag and walk to the MRT station with Raymond.

I realised it only when I'm at my doorstep.
First reaction. Panic.
Searched my pockets a few times in hope of finding it.
Then I decided to go and retrace my steps.

While walking through Ikea, I realised....I'm making the mistake of not relying on God again. So I prayed...it was panicky and unsincere at first the kind that is like throwing God a shopping list.

By the grace of God, I quicky realised it. Stopped ...Calmed myself down and pray a sincere cry to God. Asking Him to have mercy and get me my keys. I walked to the bus stop. God was nice to provide me a shuttle bus home. I got the idea that it is somewhere in Clementi.

I travelled all the way back to clementi. I intended to jogged today but it's far from my mind at this stage. My keys are really important. Without it I lost entry to both my mom and dad's homes and the usage of my bicycle. I reached clementi. I'm pretty sure that it is at Botak Jones that I'll find my keys. Well....God used the moment to test my faith.

My prayers requested God that it will be at the floor and no one notice it. God gave me something better but I know not. I search Botak Jones and yeah..I find no keys.

Haha..I panick again. I rushed to macs....as that is the only place left...where I teach Raymond how to play with a Rubiks Cube. I prayed and I prayed. No longer so confident.

Then a question came to me as I'm walking. How much do I trust God, I made up my mind that I'll trust God to the end till I find no key. Well...till I find no key. You can see the lost of faith here.

God is faithful through. I reached there, I still find no keys. A man and his wife caught my attention....so I asked him. He direct me to the counter of Macs. And...there..I've found my keys.

Well! Happy Ending. Got home through Shuttle bus today. God is nice to provide the Shuttle bus three times today and at the right timing. Or I'll need to walk alot.

On my way back I met the courageous and bright little girl again. 2nd time meeting. I think she's about primary school age. Surprise me by talking to me as if we are long known friends. I had wanted to be able to do that. So I am very intriged by the courage she has and the life and intelligence that seems to emit from herself. Cooled.

Labour Day is really fun....well...especially you have a God so real. 8]
