Money Drops from the Sky!
Hi! All! It's Sunday and wow..the activites of the day are really something to swallow.
First I wanna tell of this miracle that God did for me!
Last week, my $250 was recovered and I passed it to Ronica who is incharge or the Grad Servants Accounts. I passed on the $200 and was allowed to keep the $50 because I do not have any money as my parents have forgotten to give me food money for like months. $50 was deducted from the allowance I'll receive at the end of this month. I was not really happy about it...but well...after sometime of talking to God,I decided to let it go and trust Him with my daily needs. After all, He's been the one whos providing for me in my entire poly life when my parents failed to do so.
Anyway, I started today cashless! I was wondering how to get breakfast. I was also feeling annoyed that I was not able to tithe. Had made it a point to tithe 10% of what I recieve weekly. That's $25. So I was telling God...well...I have no money. You can't blame me. Hahaha.
My brother paid for my breakfast and about that time, I remembered that I have around $30 hidden in a compartment of my wallet! I've forgotten why is it there through... Anyway, I was able to pay for my food but my bro paid for me anyway.
Then another problem occurred to me in Church. Hmm...I have 3 $10 notes. So if I want to give God $25, I'll end up giving $30. I thought of drawing money from my savings. Then I remembered canceling my bank card when I lost my wallet last monday. Which means if I were to give $30 now, I'll be broke. I won't even have money for lunch.
Then I decide to make that step of faith to trust God to provide for my food. I put in the $30. And that's where the fun part begins.
I saw a $50 folded beside the $30 note. I was speechless. My lunch problem is solved. Hahaha. The blessings did not stop there. During the Holy Communion Pastor told me that the Church council agreed to support me $600 for my Grad serve. That's another big worry solved. After Sevice, I had lunch free of Charge as the chinese ministry had some events and are giving free food. Hahhaa...It's a proper meal somemore.
So once again God showed me that He is my provider. I should not get agitated over what I think is unfair or threatening to my welfare.
Played soccer that afternoon. Had great fun and injured my toe. Got kicked when playing bare footed. Ouch....Still hurts when I walk about.
During the Sermon God showed me something interesting. He showed it to me way before the Sermon and then....hahah the sermon happens to talk about it.. Haha..Today's pretty Cool.
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.[b]
John 3:16-18.
This is a famous verse used my evangelists. It seems to hold the heart of the gospel.
Recently, I have people asking me why would a good God send people to hell.
I've never noticed this but today, God dawn upon that this simple verse that is often taken for granted actually answered that Question.
Let's pick up the main points of the verse and we will see.
1)God so loved the world
2)he gave his one and only Son
3)whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
4)God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world
5)but to save the world through him.
6)18Whoever believes in him is not condemned
7) but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son
Note the bolded parts. God did not send His son to condemn the world. The reason He sent His son is on point 7. Because the world already stands Condemned. Why He did that? Not because He wants to have a whole group for followers. It is written in Luke 19:40 and Matthew 3:8-10 God can raise up followers from stones if He desires. The reason that we have Jesus down here on the Cross for us and proclaiming that He is the only way back to God is in the first line of the verse.
For God So Loved The World...That He Gave His One And Only Son.
Gonna apply that next time in Evangelism. God is not an Egomaniac. He Loves You.
